【Practice for Golf Beginners】5 Simple Ways to Achieve Results [Proven by Myself]

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027212234j:plain

Kyphosis posture → Gorilla posture → Good feeling!

Hello, this is CLARD!

Since May 2020, the number of new golf beginners in their 20s and 30s has increased rapidly.

I am one of them (*‘∀‘)

What I would like to emphasize here is

I ...

made my golf debut in the Philippines and

achieved under 100 score in just four months !!

However, most golf beginners will find it extremely difficult to reach 100 cuts in less than half a year. (According to GDO survey, achievement in less than one year is 16.4% of domestic players)

So why did I get results in such a short period of time?

Handsome CLARD will answer the practice methods and questions that you can relate with because you are a golf beginner!

By the way, as of the end of October 2020, my golf history is about 4 months and 1 week.

Not Taught by an Amateur Friend!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027212633j:plain

I was taught by a professional coach three times a week from the first day!

I think many beginners are doing this.

When you start playing golf, you will want to be taught by a friend who has golf experience.

Moreover, because it is taught by a friend, the lessons  fee are usuall free and cost is good! You can see that it is  amazing!

However, although you can save money, the cost of life includes TIME.

It can be said that it is NOT so ideal to be taught by an amateur friend.

So how should we learn?

Take paid lessons from a professional golf coach!

This is easy to understand if you compare it to those video tutorials you see on  YouTube .

"If you want to know more, check out the paid channel!" Same as this. The same is true for online salons.

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027212754j:plain

Field lessons are also one-on-one in the Philippines!

Let's compare the case of a friend with a professional coach ☟

<With a friend coach>

  • No money, but possibly a golf amateur
  • Must suit the other person's convenience.
  • Friends don’t commit to your achievements because no money is generated.

<With a  professional coach>

  •  It costs a lot of money, but you can receive guidance from a professional who is worth the price.
  • They are professionals and commit to our achievements.
  • Get paid-level education and knowledge in a short amount of time.

You may have a friend who is good at golf, but

However, almost all of them

are NOT professionals in teaching.

(Of course, there are people who are good at teaching)

If you really want to get better, spend money on lessons and grow at the shortest distance!

Narrowed Down the Golf YouTube Channels!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027213112j:plain

Over-registration of golf channels is not good

If you are browsing YouTube, you will see a lot of related channels.

"Oh, I'm curious about this, and I'm curious about that too, so let's subscribe to the channel for the time being!"

That is confusing to us.

That was the case with me, but if you look around the video of how to hit the driver, for example, the content of the instruction will differ slightly depending on the channel.

If that happens, you won't know which word to believe.

As I said in my teacher's words

"The golf channels out there are for the general public, so it’s not always right for you.”

After hearing this, I narrowed down the golf YouTube that I refer to to only two.

By the way, here are  the 2 channels I’m referring to

Tera-You-Golf☟

It looks too suspicious, but it is easy to listen to because it is a polite teaching method.

UUUM GOLF☟

Gaku Nakai's teaching method is also easy to understand, and Mr. Namiki, a golf beginner, is practicing it, so we beginners can relate  with it!

Create Golf Notes!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027213331j:plain

Even in sports, take down notes

In this regard, it can be said in common with any sport★

If you really want to become good at sports, you can always reflect on what you have learned in sports regardless of age and what you have noticed.

For instance 、

  • What’s the point of a bunker shot?!
  • What are the points to keep in mind when hittinging 30 yards
  • How to hit the driver or wood… Oh, I forgot

If you don't keep it in your notebook, even the practice will be a temporary learning.

By the way, this blog you are looking at now is my golf note (^_-)-☆

Since I had been taking personal lessons for two months, I checked each lesson immediately after each lesson, leaving behind what I learned from this blog, what I noticed at that time, and issues before self-discipline.

Don’t Rely on the Latest Golf Clubs!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027213417j:plain

I don’t know for how many years already was this  used club set that I have now!

We’re new to golf, so we don’t know when to get bored and drop out (;'∀')

When I first started playing golf, my thumb hurts, the ball doesn’t fly, and I feel disgusted by myself since I don’t  improve easily(-_-メ)

I was the same, so I understand it!

However, I think it's not good for us to rely on things just because there is money there.

Sport is to move the body functionally and consciously, and how much you can perform with your body is super important!

At the professional level, performance depends on the item’s function in important situations, but beginners are not at that level yet.

First of all, let’s raise the basic level of golf together ( `ー´)ノ

By the way, if you can't enjoy playing golf, you don't have to forcibly continue it.

It's just a hobby, so choose something fun!

The Practice Frequency is More Than 3 Days a Week!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20201027214010j:plain

Set up a period of practice as long as you have time and money

Golf, learning English, and muscle training are about once a week, and there can never be significant growth

If you only have one golf lesson per week, the lesson after 6 days will take you a few tens of minutes to forget and remember your body!

That time is a waste!

When you become a member of society, you spend less time playing golf, going out for drinks and dating.

However, I concentrate on golf for a certain period of time! If you decide and devote your time and money to practice, you will grow at once.

Or rather, I grew up all at once!

If you spend time and money halfway, you will get halfway results.

While I couldn't play soccer (I really like soccer and surfing) in Corona, I spent a lot of time and money on golf, so I cut 100 in 4 months from the start of golf.

For example, if you don’t go out for a drink for two months, and if you pause your marriage and improve your golfing results, you will gain confidence in yourself.

In just two months, your friends will not leave. You won’t be late for marriage (*ノωノ)

I was objectively instructed by a Japanese senior

Finally in my case,

  1. Immediately after the start of golf, a personal lesson by a Philippine golf professional coach was held 3 days a week for 2 months (at the same time, I received objective guidance from my seniors).
  2. At night, I watched Golf YouTube channels for an hour or two and was looking for practice methods.
  3. Create a golf notebook (this blog) from the first day of personal lessons.
  4. Use rental clubs for two and a half months from the start of golf, and purchase used club sets.
  5. Personal lessons 3 days a week + voluntary training 2-3 days a week for 2 months.

This may have been achieved only in the Philippines.

However, to put it the other way around,

if you come to the Philippines, you can do it!!

If corona converges, there is also a Philippine golf training camp just on weekends for the time being?!

I'd introduce u where I learned!!
