 5 Points To Achieve Results!

f:id:CLARDSATO:20210902132929j:plain

Immediately, before I forget, I will organize these  5 points ☟

(These are taken from the YouTube channels of UUUM GOLF and 45GOLF )

  1. Recognize the flight distance of each number.
  2. Grips follow overseas style, not Japanese style.
  3. Do not grip at the end.
  4. Grip from the first joint of the little finger and the second joint of the index finger.
  5. Do not hit all hits in a row at the practice field.

①Recognize the flight distance of each club

My current flight distance list

This was also taught by Mr. Popo (my personal Filipino coach) at the beginning of the personal lesson.

"In golf, it is more important to hit a certain distance stably for each count than to fly straight ."

In addition to Popo, Dr. Nakamura is also in sync with this word, and how far he can fly is not a shortcut for improving golf.

I really agree with this because I actually made my field debut and was keenly aware of it(^_-)-☆

The above seems to be the average flight distance for men when I check it on the net, but my flight distance is exactly the same.

By the way, every time I go up the driving range, I check the flight distance and think about each shot.

The grip follows the overseas style, not the Japanese style.

What does this  mean?

There is no doubt about this because it is knowledge obtained from Shingo Katayama 's YouTube (link is provided in ④).

At Old Japan Golf, when you hold a club, you are taught to hold it first as follows.

f:id:CLARDSATO:20200904175627j:plain

Japanese style start (I like to see Korean female golfers in this position( *´艸`)

f:id:CLARDSATO:20200904175950j:plain

will hold the club from this position (the club will be more slanted originally)

<Summary of comments by Shingo Katayama

  • It is a mistake to start by grasping the club in front of your body, and if you do this, the head will open.
  • Only Japan teaches as above, and overseas, basically, when the body is in a natural state, the palm faces slightly inward. The mainstream is to hold the club diagonally according to the direction of the wrist joint .
  • Also, every time I practice, I should be aware of this and re-grasp each stroke.

Do not grip at the end

f:id:CLARDSATO:20200904222134j:plain

This is based  from UUUM GOLF.

  • If you are conscious of flying and have it at the last minute, the accuracy of the control will be lost.
  • It becomes easy to control when I part two of my  fingers and hold it.
  • Moreover, there is no effect on the flight distance.
  • Use up to the end and hold so that all of your hands are touching.

Grip it so that it covers the first joint of the little finger and the second joint of the index finger.

こんな感じで覆うように握る

This is also based from Shingo Katayama YouTube .

At that time, I taught Golgo Matsumoto again from how to hold it because he was following the Japanese style of holding the club.

www.youtube.com

At this time, Gorgo was surprised,

"If you  grip it like this, you will feel like your hands are closing!( ゚Д゚)

I'm an amateur, so I still don't understand this feeling (-_-;)

but somehow I feel that I can hold it firmly without using so much grip strength.

Do not hit all hits consecutively on the practice field.

This is the teaching of Dr. Nakamura, who I worship.

f:id:CLARDSATO:20200904225120j:plain

  • On the practice field, remove it from the at-bat and visually check the target direction, and then enter the address as taught by  Shingo Katayama .
  • After one hit, instead of hitting the next hit immediately, make a swing to see if the body is moving as you see it, and then hit the next.
  • It is the same in the actual performance to hit after swinging, so practice with the same routine as much as possible.

I haven't hit at all since I heard this

"Something's wrong with the ball."

Whenever I do, I make sure to swing and then hit(^_-)-☆

Also, every time you change clubs, check the target direction and distance,

"If I turn at this distance, It's going to go this far."

I'm hitting while thinking.
