Let’s Challenge the Approach Even for Golf Beginners!【Golf Beginner Lesson】
Hello, this is CLARD!
I was surprised when I taught golf to an old friend who started playing golf at about the same time the other day.
"I'm hitting the approach with a putter" remark ( ゚Д゚)
Other than that, I was quite surprised to hear that the putter is Better for the golf beginner's approach!
I took a personal lesson in the Philippines, but there is no such teaching(;´Д`)
However, even if you can approach with an iron, just before the pin of this course
”Don’t hit too much …”
”At least I have to put it on the green …”
I often make mistakes from the negative mindset━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!!
Then what should we do!
Conclusion
Practice as much as you can!

Iron Approach Points to Keep in Mind
Make sure you know your sense of distance
What is surprisingly common for golf beginners is
"They haven't got a sense of my distance .
Probably, I think that those who have not taken the lessons properly have not learned.
I am in the early days of personal lessons
"It is a difficult point of golf to grasp your swing width and sense of distance and to be able to reproduce it reliably . "
The above is my pretend width and distance feeling memo, but if you reproduce it as it is, the distance will be stable in most cases. (Left and right accuracy is still low(*_*;)
Stabilize distance with lower body momentum
The momentum of the lower body, not the momentum of the head, stabilizes the sense of distance.
This was a super important point!
This is still a challenge for me, but while Golgo Matsumoto is struggling to approach while watching the Shingo Katayama channel , Mr. Shingo explained in an easy-to-understand manner ☟
I'm currently trying, so let's take a look☟
By the way, both images have a swing width of 9 o'clock (30 yards).
you turn your hips forward, the sole of your right foot will inevitably rise slightly.
In the image on the left, it is difficult to see the movement of the knees with long pants, but you can see the difference when comparing the soles of the feet.
Approach Practice Method
I also watch Shingo Katayama channel and Tera Yu Golf, but there is a video explaining how to hit, but there is no video on how to practice.
In fact, after all, it was to practice repeatedly and teach the body a sense of distance.
Here's what my professional coach actually taught☟
- Hit all the designated signs from 5 yards, 10 yards, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100 yards.
I did.
It's easy to hit to where you think it's a short iron, and you can enjoy it even if you practice, so it's easy to continue mentally (*´▽`*)
Whether you hit 200 yards with a driver or 10 yards with an approach, you can hit one.
It seems that you can see it well if you increase the accuracy of less than 100 yards( *´艸`)
