Mayong adlaw Ate & Kuya!! ( Good day, ladies and gentlemen!!)
I love Southeast Asia, and I'm also
a Food hunter who eats anything
if it doesn't look too gloomy and smells too bad ( `ー´)ノ
Basically staying in Clark, Pampanga Philippines ★
I'd introduce to you one of my favorite Philippine Food!!
Here we Go(^_-)-☆

About Chicken INASAL!
In a quick glance, what is chicken INASAL? ↓
-
"INASAL" is the Philippine dialect for “roasted”, that is, "roasted chicken" ( chicken BBQ in Japanese is "Yakitori" )
-
Mainly Paa (thigh part) and Pecho (chest part) can be eaten at the Inasal house. Personally, I like Paa because it has few small bones and is easy to eat and you can eat huge amounts of meat steadily(^_-)-☆
-
Paa and Pecho are basically almost the same price, and the average price is P99 , so you'll be full no matter which part you choose!
- "Unlimited RICE" is often included in the menu, which means all-you-can-eat rice. Though in my case, I am already full after the 2nd or 3rd cup.
-
The seasoning is slightly different depending on the store, but it is the same as the grilled chicken eaten in Japan, but with a slightly sweet sauce. Oh! And don't forget about the chicken oil, that yellowish-orange sauce made of extracted chicken fat wherein you can mix thoroughly with your rice for a much tastier flavored rice!
-
Personally, I recommend a chain store called "Andoks"(*ノωノ) (Slightly smaller, but the taste is one step higher!
- Inasal shops are popular anytime and anywhere, so you can have a lot of shops to choose from.
How To Eat INASAL?
Wash your hands thoroughly. (In the Philippines, there are many foods that you can eat by hand, so the hand-washing area is large and conspicuous)
↓
Mix the soy sauce and calamansi on the table in a saucer.
↓
Top the prepared soy sauce on the chicken and mix the chicken oil (yellowish- orange liquid) over your rice (; ・`д・´)
↓
Wrap a part of the chicken with a paper napkin and grab it (*´▽`*) This is my style!!
※In local style, chicken is handled cleanly with a spoon and fork, and rice is eaten by hand. (It's unexpectedly unpleasant to bring the last rice to your mouth or you can't get it. Eating by hand is soooooo difficult for me (*´Д`)
Evaluation of Chicken INASAL
《Evaluation》★→Good👍 ☆→Bad👎
- Taste ☆☆★★★
- Amount ☆★★★★
- Cost & performance ☆★★★★
- Appearance ☆☆★★★
- Rarity ☆☆★★★
The taste is not so different from what we have in Japan, but it is one of the major foods in the Philippines, but we should take a bite!!
Eating is knowing the country (; ・`д・´)
You can eat Inasal everywhere in so many parts of the Philippines, but basically Bacolod is the place where it originated!
However, there is no big difference when it comes to the taste of chicken inasal anywhere, so rest assured that whichever chicken house you visit, you'll be equally satisfied 👍
A Place Where You Can Eat Chicken INASAL!
Other than Bacolod City, the above Mang Inasal are always open in shopping malls and other standalone outlets nationwide.
Other than Mang Inasal, the taste is almost constant and delicious, so you can enter anywhere!
I'd say to u again and again...
"Andoks" has a slightly smaller number of stores but with a much better taste in my opinion (; ・`д・´)
So if you find one, try it (^_-)-☆
Japanese food hunters I know would say
"INASAL looked the same everywhere, but Andoks will do it!"
They also really like Andoks!!
