Graduation Field Test Flow!
Finally on the day of the graduation test! Immediately, let me describe to you the flow of the day in chronological order ☟
6:00am Get together at the usual golf driving range meeting (meeting after breakfast)
6:15am Take a taxi (use a local blue taxi, one-way P150)
6:30am Estimated time of arrival at Air Force City Golf Course (fill in the following materials after arrival)
6:45am Practicing putting at the putter practice area at the entrance (practicing all the way with a high and low gradient on the left and right)
7:00am Round start! (Golf course that can be played by one person)
8:45am Book a taxi for the return trip in the field (make a note of taxi driver's number on the outbound trip)
9:00am Return to the driving range
To put it simply, it looks like this ( `ー´)ノ
Most probably since it is a public course, after breakfast is finished, and there is no space to change clothes, it will start immediately when you arrive.
However, travel time is about 15 minutes only-----(*´▽`*)
Contents of the field test!
Today's test is a real field lesson, with nuances like measuring the effect after practicing for two months.
However, as far as I can hear from my friends, the service content is quite different from Japanese field lessons, so I will introduce Filipino field lessons ☟☟
-
One-on-one with students and coaches, they give advice on every shot with a cut-off with all holes. (Air Force City Golf Course is a Public course, so you can round from one person)
-
Detailed guidance before hitting, such as the setting point of the tee and the target object.
-
Bunker precautions, advice on foot position and club selection criteria when hitting from a sloped position.
-
Basically, if you make a mistake with First shot, you can practice with two or three hits from the same point. (The ball which progresses only by practice uses First shot for the second and third hits.
-
I have been lerarned one-on-one lessons on a daily day, the coach teaches you different points from my own perspective.
-
In addition, they advise you on the rules of the golf course and what to think while walking.
Caddie's Existence!
If you imagine what kind of person here a caddie is, there were almost old guys(-_-;)
I thought girls...(*´Д`)
Seriously ... I felt a little disappointed....
However, I was surprised at the skill of old guys caddie since we actually started!
-
Caddie is also an experienced golfer, so he gives detailed advice. (So today it's like two coaches)
-
They are familiar with the course so will share that knowledge and experiencies.
- Moreover, he's desperate to find the ball ( ゚Д゚)
-
Perhaps because he is a Filipino, he would naturally say things like "Nice par!", "What a Nice shot !!" and "Go go !!"!It was naturally exciting and motivating for me ( `ー´)ノ
After noticing these, I realized that I am grateful for the existence of the caddie.
Air Forth City Golf Course Facilities and Prices!
- In Japan, it is called the Forest Course
- Caddie will explain the course and have the club's advice.
- Can you tell the length of the fairway turf in the photo above? Compare shoes and lawns to understand the length.
- I noticed that it was artificial grass when I touched it.
-
- As I said earlier, there are no restaurants or clubhouses. Reception and toilet only.
- There are no showers, baths, or changing rooms.
-
There are two choices, cart or hand cart. I've never seen a Segway in this city.
<Expenses>
Transportation, field lessons, green fees, caddies, carts, insurance, around P3,000 is enough!
By the way, it was a half course today , but the price is the same even if you do 18 holes 👍
Personal feeling of field debut!
For the time being, he said that
"I would know a lot by rounding"
but that's exactly right. I'll enumerate it before I forget it☟
- The feeling of hitting from the grass is different.
-
Think about the next shot, such as punching through the branches of the tree overhead, not flying to the right, and hitting.
- I was able to understand the usage status of punch shots.
-
Think about the bunker , how to hit from a slope, how to select a club, and where to hit (from a bunker with a slight inclination of 45 degrees, 7I is more angled than SW. Suitable etc.)
-
I can hit 5W, which is usually difficult to hit, and 7I tends to fly 10 yards more than usual.
- It ’s important to hit your distance with an iron in a stable manner.
- It is very important how to bring it close to the hole with a shot within 100 yards!
-
Around the green, safety first, hit toward a large area!
Anyway, I noticed a lot of things this time!! and could fun so much with them!!
From now on, Im gonna focus on improve hitting any Iron( `ー´)ノ
